[Bug 1015777] New: LibreOffice Impress crashes when exporting to PDF.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1015777 Bug ID: 1015777 Summary: LibreOffice Impress crashes when exporting to PDF. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: LibreOffice Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: msrb@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 706603 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=706603&action=edit ODP file causing the issue. I am creating this bug as a copy of bnc#1015018:
In LibreOffice 5.2.3.3 (Build ID: 20m0(Build:3)) from default openSUSE 42.2 repo Open attached ODP file (slide), go File > Export as PDF, select „Archive PDF/A1-a“, Export. Entire X system crash, I must re-login into my desktop.
If you do it in KDE5, something (maybe kwin) causes huge allocation in X server which terminates the entire X server. That is KDE or X issue and I am investigating it in bnc#1015018. However if do it in any other desktop environment, X server is fine but LibreOffice still crashes. This is LibreOffice issue that should be investigated separately. I can reproduce the issue on my machine. Let me know if you need more information. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
