[Bug 370230] New: Defining per-widget help in hardware dialog
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=370230 Summary: Defining per-widget help in hardware dialog Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 2plus Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: kmachalkova@novell.com ReportedBy: kmachalkova@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com CC: mzugec@novell.com Found By: --- In lan/hardware.ycp help is defined globally, for the whole dialog. This is not too useful, as individual widgets appear depending on the operation (`add, `edit) and also on the architecture (s390) Distinguishing architecture is fine, but statements such as: if(!(LanItems::operation == `edit ... ) {adjust hw_help string somehow) have no effect as at the time when help is being created the type of operation is not yet known. I suggest rewriting the whole dialog to CWM... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
