Problem:: 2nd usb device does not get a mount point - I had to do this via command line. Don't look so. I asked only for one lshal output and I ask again: Please provide the full lshal output with the USB-disk plugged in (wait some seconds, wait until you get a popup for both partitions in KDE). Additionally: bofore you plugin the USB-Disk, please start on konsole 'lshal -m' and provide also this output. Please follow only the instructions atm I don't need more than these two outputs. The volume (volume_uuid_e4c45386_53f5_4ece_ba30_86d616927371) get correct detected as lshal shows also that the volume get announced. This is why you get a message o the desktop. The property/key volume.mount_point get only set if the device is mounted, which is correct behavior. As the last log in comment #22 clearly shows nobody requested to mount the device via HAL (hal-storage-mount get only called for the first of the both devices). Because of this I can only assume the problem is somewhere in the desktop. I reassign it for now to GNOME.
