After recent online updates (I am using Opensuse's KDE3 and KDE4 repositories, for example), it no longer works. I don't know where the problem lies and where I should start the diagnosis (I suspect it might have to do with the ' in the ID, but I can't check because I can't change the name myself). The wireless connection works with an unencryptet network with a different ID (without ' in its name). (After another online update, the connection to Sara Atkins' router worked again for one day, but then again it did not work.) Trying the "traditional method" using Yast, I can select the network from the list in Yast, but the ' disappears from the name. In particular, it is missing in /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-wlan0 and wpa_supplicant-wlan0.conf.
