I've tried installing adobe air apps as both su and normal user, no mather what I do it's not invoking the password dialog.. I've also tried to install the gnome su library to see if it helps any but it don't. I have also tried to reinstall Adobe Air using both the rpm installer and the binary installer from adobe.com, the binary installer won't even install.
From AIR installation log [Adobe AIR Application Installer:12808][INFO] Waiting for user confirmation
Edit: By the way, I've also tried the normal troubleshooting such as removing the crypt catalog, removing cache and etc.. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download and install adobeairi386.rpm (or binary file) from http://get.adobe.com/air/ 2. Download any adobe air application to desktop and start installation 3. As the installer starts confirm any options, finally you will simply see that the installation halts waiting for password input Actual Results: Adobe AIR displays window with titlebar and not much more Expected Results: Adobe AIR should present a password input dialog to proceed installation of the application and then start it when complete -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I just did a reinstallation of OpenSuse 11.3 KDE and did redownload adobeair386.rpm from adobe and proceeded to install. The installation seemed sucessfull (alltough I newer got a question to agree to any licenses) I so proceeded to attempt a installation of tweetdeck and Wimp wich both are Adobe Air approved applications, the result was the same. Conclusion: reinstallation of OpenSuse 11.3 KDE did not solve the problem. I also uninstalled Adobe Air and installed it again from Adobes own linux repo, this did not help -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
