http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=911312 Bug ID: 911312 Summary: Did a fresh install from Thumbleweed - only first page printed from Okular Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 13.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Printing Assignee: jsmeix@suse.com Reporter: roger.larsson@e-gatan.se QA Contact: jsmeix@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 618433 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=618433&action=edit Error log from attempt before upgrade until in the middle of current working printout tried without and with "force rasterisation" (Okular option) default and with RIPCache 1024MB (1.5.4) File is a multipage .pdf report Installed Thumbleweed printing (1.7.5) had initially no better luck... (from okular) But now pages print from a plain lpr command - this feels like a repetition of an earlier problem. But I have no possiblitilty to check this out right now (I will bring the printout on a journey tomorrow...) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

From your attachment#618838 "Initial y2 install log" I cannot determine the ordering how the cups* RPMs have been initially installed.
I guess initially cups-filters-ghostscript and cups-filters had been installed before cups so that there was no /usr/share/cups/mime/cupsfilters.convs file and you got the non-working filtering via pstotiff. This would match https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=906198#c4 Therefore I think I need to improve the RPM %pre scriptlet in cups-filters-ghostscript to make it work independent of the ordering how all those cups* RPMs get installed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
