Before the second stage of installation started, my /home partition (twofish256-encrypted) got a forced fsck. fsck showed this message: home primary superblock features different from backup, check forced. It found the following: Inode 634058, i_blocks is 8, should be 0. Fixed. but also displayed that the filesystem was still not clean. Results of a manual fsck: (most important parts with englisch translated added) # fsck.ext3 -v /dev/mapper/cryptotab_loop0 e2fsck 1.40.8 (13-Mar-2008) home enthält ein fehlerhaftes Dateisystem, Prüfung erzwungen. -> home filesystem has errors, check forced. Durchgang 1: Prüfe Inodes, Blocks, und Größen Durchgang 2: Prüfe Verzeichnis Struktur Inode 634058 (/tmp/ntpOQUxvl) hat einen falschen Modus (032462). -> inode 634058 (/tmp/...) has wrong mode (032462) Bereinige<j>? ja Durchgang 3: Prüfe Verzeichnis Verknüpfungen Durchgang 4: Überprüfe die Referenzzähler Inode 198403 Prüfsumme ist 1, sollte sein 2. Repariere<j>? ja -> Inode 198403 checksum is 1, should be 2. Repair?<y>? Durchgang 5: Überprüfe Gruppe Zusammenfassung Block Bitmap differieren: -1296384 -> block bitmap differ: -1296384 Repariere<j>? ja Freie Blocks Anzahl ist falsch Gruppe #39 (536, counted=537). -> free block count is wrong group #39 (536, counted=537). Repariere<j>? ja Freie Blocks Anzahl ist falsch (246526, counted=246527). -> free blocks count is wrong (...) Repariere<j>? ja home: ***** DATEISYSTEM WURDE VERÄNDERT ***** After this fsck the partition seems to be OK again. Any idea what could have caused these problems?
