It hangs permanently, only the kill command can bring OOo down. Please note: Defining the relationship of two tables before creating the table does also not work. 1.Select Database-Tables 2.Tools > Relationships 3.Add the two tables 4.Click <New Relation> 5.Select the Main-Table and the Primary key 6.Select the Sub-Table and the related key column 7.A Relationship line 1:n may or may not appear, but it does not point to the selected fields. 8.Re-clicking the relationship icon shows the two tables, but the column fields are empty. i.e. no proper relationship has been defined. looks like a know kde4 integration issue, to check can you see if removing the kde package OpenOffice_org-kde4-1.1.4.ixxx ( and making sure that the libvclplug_kdeli.so ( from /usr/lib[64]/ooo3/basis3.1/program directory ) ) is also removed fixes the problem ?
Thanks for your suggestion. I did remouve OpenOffice_org-kde4 and libvclplug_kdeli.so, but there was no change in the behaviour. When I make a query with two related mySQL tables, the application crashes.
