It should run from right to left. shutdown is the reverse of startup. Are we starting or are we shuuting down. A good example is a reboot, which is a shutdown followed by a startup. Both splashes look exactly the same. So I initate a reboot and go for a cup of coffee. When I come back, I see this splash screen, but I really don't know what's happening. Is it still shutting down? Is it starting up? Don't have a clue! They start with a filled progressbar and they fill it up again with the color they use for unfilled. So essentially, they reverse the colors for filled and unfilled.
