I've installed the latest kernel 3.11, but it doesn't help too. Judging from alsa-info.sh output, your machine has 4 line-out at rear, one mic at rear, one line-in at rear, one mic at front, one headphone at front, in addition to one SPDIF out at rear, and an internal SPDIF out. And, the alsa-info.sh output also shows that the front line-out jack and the center/LFE line-out jacks are currently plugged in. Is this all correct? I can't see any application recording (except pavucontrol monitor). Try i.e. skype test call and capture `pactl list` output during this call. Also make sure that you are recording from correct source. I've unplugged mic and headphones, turned off my main sound system, but arecord have recorded sound from aplay. Looks like hardware problem(.
