[Bug 995782] New: Editing "proposal settings" doesn't recalculate size of / partition
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=995782 Bug ID: 995782 Summary: Editing "proposal settings" doesn't recalculate size of / partition Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.1 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: asarai@suse.com QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- I've noticed this in quite a few places (and have yet to check if it also happens on SLES). Basically, the issue is that if you go through the regular install process and then set the following two options using the basic "edit proposal settings" button: * Use an encrypted LVM proposal. * Disable the use of a separate /home partition. Then the installer will not correctly recalculate the right partition size for /, resulting in you having only a 40GB / partition on a 2TB drive. Surely if you select to not use a separate /home partition then the / partition should take up the whole drive? I will post the required YaST logs once I get access to a box to test this on. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
