After installing the mentioned fonts-config the font looks different but still pretty ugly.

JFYI, there was bug in M17N/fonts-config which picked last installed font from priority list defined in fonts-config itself instead o first one. It is fixed
(For sans only. That implied, that Droid Sans was picked instead of DejaVu Sans.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Unfortunately I don't know how java renderes its fonts; it looks like, that for that dialog, antialiasing is not used (try for example load Droid Sans font in fontforge and uncheck AntiAlias in View menu). JFYI, test file from bug 732447 comment 3 works as expected for me (nicely rendered fonts). Ccing Michael, who reported bug 732447. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
