[Bug 436287] New: Nautilus crashed by "bonobo" server
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=436287 Summary: Nautilus crashed by "bonobo" server Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jimomura@pathcom.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- This is a crash I do not recall seeing before. It happened during a fairly long work session, so it might have to do with a build-up of processes. Nautilus crashed with a message the it was because of "bonobo activation server" (unfortunately, I did not think about writing it down, so the above wording is probably wrong). It suggested that I might kill the "bonobo" task and restart nautilus. I did this and finished my work for the session, and rebooted. I do not know what "bonobo" does, so I do not know if killing it was particularly dangerous, but I assume it must be doing something useful or it would not be there. I could be wrong. . . . If it happens again I will try to preserve more details. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
