[Bug 338123] New: boot.crypto and boot.localfs executed in wrong order
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=338123 Summary: boot.crypto and boot.localfs executed in wrong order Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: kohring@ccrl-nece.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer If an encrypted file system is described in /etc/crypttab and a mount point to the mapped device is included in /etc/fstab, then the boot fails because fstab is processed before crypttab. I think the problem is that boot.crypto should come before boot.localfs in the file /etc/init.d/.depend.boot Also the order of the two scripts in the directory /etc/init.d/boot.d should be changed. Making these two changes solves the problem for me... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
