Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Write 'ok' instead 'OK' to /sys/class/enclosure///status file. 2. 3. Actual Results: You should see Kernel starting to dump memory (without warning) and reboot. Expected Results: Software should return an error if the given status does not match. It looks like there's missing NULL at the end of 'enclosure_status[]' array in drivers/misc/enclosure.c file. When writing an invalid value to /sys/class/enclosure/.../.../status, it goes off the end of the array and Oopses. This patch uses the array size instead.
