[Bug 504598] New: YaST partitioner automatically starts disk partition at cylinder "1" instead "0"
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=504598 Summary: YaST partitioner automatically starts disk partition at cylinder "1" instead "0" Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Live Medium AssignedTo: coolo@novell.com ReportedBy: noelamac@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- openSUSE LiveCD 11.1 (32 bits, gnome) When performing a disk partition with YaST, it didn't allow me to start at cylinder 0, so as a result, I had ~8 MB of "unallocated space" that I saw using "cfdisk". I am attaching the logs. I had to connect the hard disks into an existing openSUSE 10.3 installation in another computer and run YaST partitioner from there. This time it worked as expected. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
