[Bug 379696] New: sw_single/package install: Patterns -> order of pattern changes
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=379696 Summary: sw_single/package install: Patterns -> order of pattern changes Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: burnus@gmx.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- In sw_single -> Filter: Patterns there is on the left the list of patterns. If I click on one pattern, e.g., "Base System" and right click then in package list, choosing "All in the list" -> "Update if newer version is available", the order in the package list changes. Example: I have the order: [Base Technologies]: Console Tools, Laptop, Software Management, Test for the Update Stack, Yast System Administration, Yast Installation Packages, ... After doing "All in the list" -> "Update if newer version is available" I have the order: [Base Technologies]: Test for the Update Stack, Enhanced Base System, Software Management, Console Tools, Yast System Administration, ... Expected: Independent what I do in the package list, the pattern list does not change the order (or the scroll position). [The problem is actually quite old: It never worked with the Qt4 version.] -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Can't reproduce it with current package
I still get this with the current packages from Factory as of today. Any idea how I can debug it? Or is there any reason to believe that it is fixed in newer packages which are not yet in Factory? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
