I didn't have to perform an extra config file for wine to get access to the modem via this com-port.This doesn't work under similar conditions with wine and OpenSuse 11.1 and 11.2. Fact is, that I use the wine version 0.9.64_aka_1.0.rc3-2.1.i586.rpm, which was delivered with Suse 11.0, now under Suse 11.1 and 11.2 successfully. All other newer wine versions don't allow access to port ttyS0. As far as I can see it is not a question of user rights, because it doesn't work as root either.
