[Bug 535516] New: Kopete can't launch 'http link' in a gnome session
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=535516 Summary: Kopete can't launch 'http link' in a gnome session Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: dominique.leuenberger@tmf-group.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- hi, I'm running GNOME 2.28beta and on top of the Kopete 0.70.90 Whenever I receive a web link in a message, they are perfectly marked as links. But as soon as I click it, I see a window popping up stating "Transferring" in the title and a 'progress bar'. Shortly after it times out with 'Error - Can not connect to host <hostname>' (probably due to firewall and proxy). The requested behaviour in my opinion would be to launch the site in the defined web-browser though (probably by using xdg-open) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
