Honestly, you can be more than happy if the driver works in 16bit depth without DRI on i810/i815. I would check this first. Remove the ' Load "dri" ' line from xorg.conf to verify this. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

But hatching titlebar is still there (it changes with playing with focusing, nimimalize and maximalize applications). I can't catch a crash, but as I wrote they was unexpected and ramdomly ... Out of toppic: I'm not able to boot from 10.2 box edition (proabably some initrd problem), so I can't test it -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

But hatching titlebar is still there (it changes with playing with focusing, nimimalize and maximalize applications). Sounds like a broken accelerated function. Verify this with ' Option "noaccel" ' and let me know.
I'm not able to boot from 10.2 box edition (proabably some initrd problem), so I can't test it BTW, probably you need to boot/install with "acceleratedx=1" kernel commandline option with i810/i815 hardware.

Now it works ok (or seems to be ok), thank you ! option with i810/i815 hardware. Ok, I will try it and give you report how this works in 10.2 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

I'm not able to start installation (it halts on "NET: .."). It's not related to this bug, but because of this I can't test accelerated function in new version of Xorg. Stefan, Thank you for your help. For me it's enought when no more crashes will be there, I don't need 2D/3D acceleration. If you want some logs from me or something to debug dri, just write me. Otherwise close this bug (I'll create new report with 10.2 when fix installation). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Since investigating DRI issues and which accel function is responsible for the problme would be quite time consuming and i810/i815 chipsets are hopefully no longer in widely use I close this one now as WONTFIX. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
