When installation is complete, new user is logged into KDE3. The reason seems to be that /etc/sysconfig/windowmanager has DEFAULT_WM="startkde4", but there is no startkde4 - the startup script for KDE4 is called just startkde (i.e. KDE3: startkde3, KDE4: startkde).
