Anyway, this is not a bug. the user creating the config is very likely "linux", but during live installation you create a new user and that new user has default configs - as every new user. migrating ~linux config may be an option, the user is removed, but it's home directoy is left intact. I wonder how other linux distribution live cds handle that. Even if the live installer did some migration of the 'linux' user, it would not be used for users created in the future.
