[Bug 295993] New: Xorg does not recieve mouse events ( but mouse can still be moved)
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=295993 Summary: Xorg does not recieve mouse events (but mouse can still be moved) Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: SLED 10 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: ikkini@gmail.com QAContact: sndirsch@novell.com Found By: Customer Created an attachment (id=154418) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=154418) boot.msg + Xorg.0.log What happens: At unpredictable moments my mouse stops working correctly. Brand mouse does not matter. Touchpad does the same. Mouse is still moving, but thats it. Keyboard stays functional, xev does not see any events. Dropping to the console and back seemed to work before, but not this time. Locking screen with keyboard and unlocking helped, altough I needed to do it twice: the first time, no right-click menu was shown in the gnome-terminal (but right-click did work in firefox). Please tell me which output/info you need and I'll gladly provide this the next time it happens. This happened with both ATI and fglrx drivers. My system: Dell Latitude 600. nothing about psmouse.c in dmesg, though that did happen a couple of times when I used the touchpad. See attached logs.txt for all I could think of that might be of help: boot.msg -- Xorg.0.log Thanks in advance for all your efforts! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
