Sorry David, it will take time to get the tcpdump (if you want specific flags
and options don't hesitate to bring them here), I've been overloaded by other
stuf.
As most of those server are production, I've to wait week-end to do debuging.
I was pretty sure that win7+ doesn't resolve but this is not true.
I've a 42.2 openSUSE server which give this kind of results
Samba version 4.2.4-24.1-3722-SUSE-SLE_12-x86_64
PID Username Group Machine Protocol Version
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
24132 A ntdomusers 10.10.10.132 (ipv4:10.10.10.132:51782) NT1
XP32
3147 B F-users epicea (ipv4:10.10.10.136:51053)
SMB2_10 WIN7 64 bit
757 C ntdomadmin ssgmt-note (ipv4:10.10.10.194:60388)
SMB2_10
(Windows 10 notebook)
It seems this is perhaps the most interesting one network.
I should have time to do a test during Feb 11-12th.
