[Bug 876406] New: Wordpress auto-upgrades and overwrites patched files, making it unusable
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=876406 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=876406#c0 Summary: Wordpress auto-upgrades and overwrites patched files, making it unusable Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: robert.munteanu@gmail.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 Wordpress auto-updates for minor releases, breaking the installation. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install wordpress from server:php:applications 2. Wait for an upstream minor upgrade to be released Actual Results: The installation is automatically upgraded, erasing all openSUSE patches and making it unusable ( since wp-config.php is not found in the expected location ) I've tried patching the default wp-config.php file in the package, but I noticed in the spec file that the patches are applied after creating wp-config.php, therefore not picking up changes to wp-config-sample.php. # create wp-config %{__cp} -a wp-config-sample.php wp-config.php %patch1 -p1 I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, so I did not submit a patch myself. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
