[Bug 306418] New: [gdm] configure login-manager continues without root password
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=306418 Summary: [gdm] configure login-manager continues without root password Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dominique.leuenberger@tmf-group.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- On the gnome login screen (gdm), press F10 to get the menu, select configure login-manager. A message appears that the root password is requested, but even when just pressing enter (so no password, which is certainly NOT the root password I have on my system), the configure dialog appears. Even changing the login theme is possible (just tried it). I'm sure this behaviour is not intended :-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
