I should fix it someday, it scribbles over memory randomly, etc :-(. Gavin, can you try to unload hda-audio before suspend and reload it after resume? If so, it is hda-audio problem, and takashi can probably fix it. Ar you using message signalled interrupts? (Attach /proc/interrupts). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Works for me on dell 9400 with Intel hda. Basically, if you run (as root) rcalsasound restart and that works to restore sound after resume, then the script I posted in that thread may do it for you. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

the requested info was still not provided, so this bug should stay in needinfo.
As you wish. However, bug reports of this same type are common in bugzilla and some have resolutions posted, while others have many hardware details posted. The simple fact that running rcalsasound restart as root will solve the problem should give enough clues for people who know the code to find the solution. Its a very good guess that he is talking about an intel hda system on a laptop, since he mentions a button to turn off bluetooth, and hda seems particularly prone to this. Since he has not responded in two months it seems likely he won't ever. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
