Then if you select the repository manager menu item you are presented with a blank window again and the only way to exit is to click the close window x on the title bar or select close in the window menu. If you have selected any packages for installation or upgrade prior to closing the blank window, you are presented with a child window asking if you wish to uninstall or install any more packages, as you would at the end of normal session otherwise the window closes normaly and yast exits completely. When you have finished selecting the packages you wish to install/update/delete and click the accept button you are once again presented with a blank window but using tailf /var/log/YaST2/y2log I can see that the installation etc process is taking place normally as is also the case with repository manager. After the processing of packages is complete you are once again presented with the normal child window asking if you wish to exit or install more packages. The part of yast2-qt which is no longer usable is the repository manager as the control centre no longer has a separate function for repository manager since my last update. yast2-ncurses does not have this problem, the integrated repository manager works and yast2 --gtk sw_single seems to work correctly, I must have entered something wrong before, and it's repository manager is accessible and fully functional.
