Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: RC 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp AssignedTo: zypp-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ma@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Development Need to overwork the fix for bug #442718, as is is not appropriate for the ui (or any application that does multiple solver runs). Problem is the faked selection byUSER will serve as request for the next solver run. The solver is not able to change his decision in a later run, nor will removing the requirement from the solver queue have any effect. The package will stay seleced. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Why not? If yast installs some package needed because the user configures a service, why not having this in the history.
I don't say 'no' :O) I'm fine with such solution.
Cool would be an application field, so you could see if the request came in from zypper, yast swsingle, yast somemodule, pkgkit, or other applications.
Yes, that would be interesting. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
