Matrix of what works/does not work with pm-suspend(or s2ram --force) openSUSE 12.1 Live CD KDE (Kernel 3.1.0-1.2) WORKS openSUSE 12.1 Installed all versions to current WORKS openSUSE 12.2 Live CD KDE (Kernel 3.4.6-2.10) DOES_NOT_WORK openSUSE 12.2 Installed (Kernel 3.4.6-2.10) DOES_NOT_WORK openSUSE 12.2 Tumbleweed (Kernel 3.6.1-4) DOES_NOT_WORK I tried 12.1 and 12.2 Live CDs in a AMD based Motherboard - Both WORK Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Boot System 2.Log In 3.Select Suspend icon, or run pm-suspend from CLI or run s2ram --force Actual Results: System partially sleeps - power supply remains active, systems auto-resotres in 30 seconds in unstable state.
