[Bug 341900] New: Yum cannot update from update repositories
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=341900 Summary: Yum cannot update from update repositories Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Update Problems AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jfloyd@bigpond.net.au QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Customer Created an attachment (id=183488) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=183488) output from yum -d 10 --enablerepo=opensuse-updates --enablerepo=opensuse-oss update gtk2 Yum produces dependency conflicts when trying to update from official repositories. All packages look OK when queried individually from rpm queries. If the package (and any updated dependencies) are downloaded, rpm updates without any problems. See attached log with yum run with -d 10 run for just updating gtk2. Note that this problem appears to occur for all updates with dependencies. Note that this output is generated on a downloaded latest yum version (from source). Same problem with the original 10.3 version. Have used yum extensively with previous SuSEs. The system is a completely new 10.3 installation. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
