Stefan, I didn't think you were able to suspend with a usb mass storage device mounted. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

I'm suffering from one stale entry in /media, but I can't exactly remember how I produced it. Instead of /media/USBDISKPRO, the stick now mounts as /media/USBDISKPRO_. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=219817 jpr@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED ------- Comment #3 from jpr@novell.com 2007-02-13 09:25 MST ------- There were a number of issues with that dir being removed at one point. Also if the entry is in fstab it might be reserved. I'll close this for now, if you can repeat the stale entry in future, let us know. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=219817 ------- Comment #4 from behlert@novell.com 2007-02-14 06:02 MST ------- Well, it is not supported to umount an USB storage attached in 10.2. It is working in some cases, but not reliably. I strongly recommend to remove the stick before you suspend! For 10.3 this is planned to be fixed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=219817 ------- Comment #5 from Ulrich.Windl@rz.uni-regensburg.de 2007-02-15 00:35 MST ------- Usually I do safely remove the stick, but occasionally I forget. Also, if energy saving policy will suspend the computer due to inactivity, the robot arm to remove the stick is missing ;-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
