[Bug 309508] New: no whitespace in disk label
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=309508 Summary: no whitespace in disk label Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 3 Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: funtasyspace@yahoo.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Using the Yast2 disk module (partitioner) you can setup labels for your partitions, which will be displayed among others in the KDE sysinfo:/ kio-slave. I just noticed that it's not possible to setup labels that contain whitespaces with Yast. The yast input text field for the disk label (System -> Partitions -> select a partition -> Edit -> Fstab-Options) does not allow pressing SPACE to insert whitespaces. Anyway, there is a partition labeled "Windows XP" on my machine, which contains a whitespace. I just want to ask if this maybe a NTFS only feature, or if it would be possible to setup labels for ext3 partitions containing whitespaces, too.
