But if 3 is the maximum number of redirects that libcurl is configured to follow, this is dangerously small. Could you look into the YaST logfile to see the actual requests that it did? Then we should be able to see what was going on. However, if you could not download that file by other means there was likely something else wrong. Which kind of errors did you get there?
