If NetworkInterfaces.rb assumes that there is a fixed set of valid network interface names then it is wrong.
it doesn't. I couldn't reproduce the bug with yast2.rpm (3.0.10, 3.1.11). It doesn't seems to be NetworkInterfaces problem. Could you attach complete logs which covers the issue?
