[Bug 266435] New: WPA-PEAP authentication won't reconnect after reboot
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=266435 Summary: WPA-PEAP authentication won't reconnect after reboot Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mdcrapo@zipnets.net QAContact: qa@suse.de When I shut down my Acer Aspire 5670 laptop and reboot it will not reconnect to my access point. The provider is using WPA-Enterprise PEAP for authentication to the network. This laptop is using a Intel ProComm Wireless 54g card (built in) for wireless connectivity. The first time I try to connect KNetwork Manager allows me to enter the user and password and promptly connects me to the network. If is shutdown and later restarted the KNetwork Managers never connects. If I try to manually connect, I have the same problem. I have to go into the "options" and "show networks"and delete the setting for my access point and then reboot the computer, it will then present me with the the authentication credentials page and will log me onto the network again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
