Why does RandR modesetting accept a resolution which isn't panel native here? It should very harshly deny this mode, and no mode should survive validation. Panel can either not come up or start blooming: _very_ nasty stuff. This is an issue with our RandR compatibility layer and maybe RandR, re-assigning to mhopf.
