'mkbootimage' and 'mkimage' should stand for 'mkbootdisk' Thus, complete error description should be: Creating boot floppy disks with 'mkbootdisk ' following error occurs: 'error: syslinux failed' mkbootdisk itself seems to be ok, its content is same like the one comming with opensuse 11.1-Beta5 + the two patches from bugs 444861 and 445956. Also it is possible to use mkbootdisk from opensuse-11.1-RC1 to create bootdisk for opensuse-11.1-Beta5 DVD.
