if I boot dom0 with 11.2 or 11.3-factory, all domUs start fine except for one: suse 11.1 32bit (11.1 64bit domU is ok).
just for reference: in bug #599789 I just noticed that with dom0 running 11.1 (64bit) this 32bit 11.1 domU also crashes once at startup(dom6) but it immediately got restarted or started a 2nd time as dom7. in bug #599789 I;'ve attached "xm dmesg" and xend.log for this start in 11.1 dom0. maybe this can be a first pointer to the reason of the os-suse111 crash with 11.2/11.3 dom0 xen server ?! anyway, I would not expect a suse 11.1 domU to crash in a 11.1 dom0 server -- even if it sautomagically tarts up at a 2nd try :-( I'll give 11.2/11.3 dom0 another try and collect more information mid/end of next week (now off for a conference...) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Both your 11.2 Dom0 and your 11.1 guest need updating - please attach logs after you have done so, if the problem persists.
oops, the 11.2 dom0 was supposed to be fully updated. the update repo is configured -- but "zypper se -s kernel-xen" shows the oss rpm, not the update rpm:-( thanks for this hint -- I'll have to check/fix this next week -- now I'm really off.... -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
