Audio still plays till to the end of movie when it stops. Only way to make computer works again is to push the power button to stop computer and start again, or sometimes ctrl alt backspace. It hangs always in fullscreen. Thanks. This sounds unrelated to the X/Kernel update. Could you stil reboot/halt the machine manually with the commands "reboot", "halt" as superuser?
