[Bug 343888] New: Focus problem with 1-click install
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=343888 Summary: Focus problem with 1-click install Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: willy_uk@hotmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- When using the 1-click install links* on the opensuse.org website, the "run as root" password dialogue opens behind the main YaST window. It is a simple workaround, just clicking the relevant entry on the taskbar will bring it to the front in order to enter the root password and continue with the installation, but if the dialogue simply opened in front it wouldn't be an issue. The first few times it happened I thought the install had hung and so killed the process and started again. I have no compiz type products running. Nothing more than the standard KDE that was installed with openSUSE 10.3. If it helps... ~>kde-config --version Qt: 3.3.8 KDE: 3.5.7 "release 72.2" kde-config: 1.0 ~> *(for example today I was installing lomoco from http://software.opensuse.org/search?p=1&q=lomoco&baseproject=openSUSE%3A10.3 ) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
