The attached file is the rpmbuild log for `rpmbuild -bc kernel-source.spec` when used with SL-OSS-factory's kernel-source-2.6.18-3.src.rpm on SUSE Linux 10.1. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=207604 ------- Comment #4 from olh@novell.com 2006-10-04 05:16 MST ------- get_release_number.sh is used by autobuild to provide my own release number. if get_release_number.sh is replaced by rpm -qp --qf %{RELEASE} kernel-dummy it would not work either because kernel-dummy is not on any install media. All the release number related changes should be reverted to 10.1 state. The buildservice has to provide its own autobuild compatible way to sync release numbers across packages. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

We use it to synchronize release numbers among the kernel packages.
