After update to 11.1 the icons in KDE4 system tray has been disappeared. Actually they are in the tray: it stretched to contain all of them and I can operate with application, using context menu and others. But no icons are shown, only boxes with garbadge. I've updated to KDE4 factory (current version is 4.1.96) with no luck. Deleting ~/.kde4 doesn't solves the problem. But I found that if dock panel to top or left edge of the screen the system tray works perfectly. If I drag it back to bottom or right edge icons disappear again. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install OpenSUSE 11.0 2. Install KDE4 from factory repository 3.
