If you add a repo and go to the community repositories selection again the added repo should not be offered again. (If it doesn't work correctly then open a separate bug report.) ad 2) alias is for command line users (zypper), yast doesn't use aliases at all. It's a bug if an alias is displayed in an error message. (Again, report it as a separate bug report.)
