[Bug 564740] New: konqueror file management when active directory membership (winbind) have a limit in number of groups
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=564740 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=564740#c0 Summary: konqueror file management when active directory membership (winbind) have a limit in number of groups Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE3 AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: diego.ercolani@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; it; rv:1.9.0.15) Gecko/2009102100 SUSE/3.0.15-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.15 The problem may be a configuration issue but I don't know where to put things. I have a file server that is currently configured to be a joined active directory file server. In this file server there is a unique share that implements filesystem posix ACL via groups exported by Active directory server. The question is that in my configuration (default from openSuSE 11.0) when I try to add permissions using advanced button in the permission tab of konqueror file manager (super user mode), are shown ONLY 30 Active Directory groups while I currently have 52. from console, if I issue "getent group" are shown 37 Active directory groups. also with "net -U Administrator ads group" are shown 52 groups. "tdbdump winbindd_cache.tdb" in the samba cache directory seems to show all the groups. The problem for now seem to be konqueror (version: 3.5.9 release 49.2) (rpm -qf /opt/kde3/bin/konqueror kdebase3-3.5.9-65.2) Reproducible: Always -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
