I noted this with Beta 10.2 beta1 too. Sofar the system froze when the screen saver was displayed ....no response whatsoever. No it happened whilst burning a dvd. The burning stopped, no reaction to key-board or mouse. only help....restart button. Then, please run also these commands to test your hard drive and post their outputs: 'smartctl -i /dev/hda' 'smartctl -Hc /dev/hda' 'smartctl -A /dev/hda' 'smartctl -l error /dev/hda' 'smartctl -l selftest /dev/hda' where /dev/hda is your hard drive (it may be different). Please check also your filesystem: 'fsck /dev/hda' and post output of the 'dmsg' and 'hwinfo'.
