Searching for comments about the crash, I found the Gnome bugzilla (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=667470). This stated that the cause of the crash was introduced in glib 2-30, and fixed in glib 2-32 (comment #2). If proven successful, this updated glib package can be published to the official openSUSE Udpate channel, having everybody profit from the fix. for the update @Zaitor: Can you please publish your repo? It looks fine, and some testing before we push it would be great. I will test a custom check printing routine tomorrow and do a reconciliation. On the 12.1 front, I created the above archive with those directions, and when I did an enable/refresh in the Yast repositories, it did not complain ... and zypper lr glib2test produced an output that my inexperienced eyes thought was pretty ... but in Software Management, which is where I assume I am to go ... the initialization whines about invalid meta data with large numbers of [[[[]]] and in a glib2 search, which again is where I assume I'm heading, there are no versions of glib2 from the new repository ... so if I goofed just let me know and I'll go at it again. Also, if I list repositories under Software Management it, not surprisingly, doesn't show up ... I don't know how long the push is supposed to take ...
