The call to dmsetup succeeds if I apply it upon /dev/loop0 mirroring sdb. However then only the first linear-slice can be accessed. The second slice is not recognized producing an io-error:
dmsetup create sdy 0 2048 linear /dev/loop0 0 2048 234370300 error 234372348 78124032 linear /dev/loop0 234372348 312496380 175900788 error

Yet another error. This is just too bad since lvm and evms do also rely on device-mapper. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
