[Bug 330276] New: /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig. postfix could copy certs into smtpd_tls_CApath
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=330276 Summary: /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.postfix could copy certs into smtpd_tls_CApath Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: pieter.hollants@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Postfix has a smtpd_tls_CApath option so that it can verify TLS certificates signed by "the usual" certification authorities. Usually one would set that path to /etc/ssl/certs. However, if chroot is enabled for postfix, one would have to copy these certs over manually. My suggestion is that /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.postfix could take care of this, if postconf reports a non-empty smtpd_tls_CApath option. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
