[Bug 843000] New: "Global Dark Theme" option from GNOME's Tweak Tool breaks its left side panel and isn't applied to all GTK applications
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=843000 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=843000#c0 Summary: "Global Dark Theme" option from GNOME's Tweak Tool breaks its left side panel and isn't applied to all GTK applications Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 13.1 Beta 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: danilo.cominotti@outlook.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=560691) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=560691) Screenshot of a Global Dark Theme enabled desktop User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/29.0.1547.66 Safari/537.36 If I launch GNOME's Tweak Tool and turn the "Global Dark Theme" option on, after I restart it both its left side panel's background and text will be white when its window has focus, breaking the theme and making the text invisible. Additionally, the setting isn't applied to all GTK applications (e.g.: LibreOffice and Firefox). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch the GNOME Activities overlay. 2. Type "tweak tool" and press Enter. 3. Enable the "Global Dark Theme" option. 4. Close Tweak Tool. 5. Relaunch Tweak Tool. 6. Notice its left side panel while the window has focus. 7. Launch either Firefox or LibreOffice. 8. Notice that the setting hasn't been applied to them. Actual Results: Tweak Tool's left side panel will have invisible (white) text while the window has focus. Also, the "Global Dark Theme" option won't have any effect over Firefox and LibreOffice. Expected Results: When Tweak Tool's window has focus, its left side panel should behave just as when the focus is changed to another window: its text should be grey instead of white. Also, when I launch applications such as Firefox or LibreOffice, the "Global Dark Theme" setting should be applied to them. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
